ECONOMY & ENVIRONMENT INSTITUTE – INDONESIA

Economy and Environment Institute – Indonesia (EEI-Indonesia) is a consortium of Indonesian research institutions that was formed by the Indonesian members of the network of the Economy and Environment Program for Southeast Asia (EEPSEA Program), a widely-known program in environmental economic research with a long tradition of capacity building in Southeast Asia. EEI-Indonesia is a member of Economy and Environment Partnership for Southeast Asia (EEPSEA).

EEI-Indonesia is currently hosted and administered by UNPAD’s SDGs Center and LPEM FEB-UI.

EEI-Indonesia envisions a harmony between economy and the environment for a better Indonesia. It carries out the following missions: (1) Improving public understanding on the linkage between the economy and the environment; (2) Influencing contemporary public policies relevant to the linkage between the economy and the environment; (3) Producing future generations of researchers, policy makers and leaders of civil society organizations that have better analytical skills on the relationship between economy and the environment.
