On the behalf of Dr. Pham Khanh Nam, we would like to share the information about the RRC.AP Training Programme on Economics of Climate Change Adaptation 2017
A ten-day Training Programme on Economics of Climate Change Adaptation will be be held in August 2017 in Bangkok, Thailand by The UNDP in cooperation with the USAID Adapt Asia-Pacific Project and the Regional Resource Center for Asia and the Pacific at the Asian Institute of Technology.
The training programme is comprised of three main components: (1) Introduction to key economic principles and review of impacts of climate change in Asia and the Pacific, (2) Assessment of economic impacts of climate change, cost-benefit analysis of investment projects and climate-proofing options, and (3) Proposal development
Full scholarships covering the travel, accommodation and subsistence expenses are available.
Preference is given to representants from countries were ECCA workshops were already conducted, namely Bangladesh, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Maldives, Mongolia, Nepal, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam.
