The Santa Fe Institute, working together with Sir Partha Dasgupta, will offer a short course on “Population and the Environment: Analytical Demography and Applied Population Ethics” October 15-16, 2018. Details below and in the attached flyer.

This is a great opportunity for graduate students (and other early career researchers) in economics, demography, ecology, and associated fields wanting a crash course in cutting-edge methods and concepts relevant to the future of the planet.

Tuition is free, and there will be some limited support available for students’ international travel.

Would you please be able to share this information with your networks?

For any further information or if there are particular students you’d recommend for the course, please contact Dr. Paul Lovell Hooper – Director of Education, Santa Fe Institute by his email at phooper@santafe.edu.
