ALiSEA Call for Proposals

Inviting NGOs, INGOs, CSOs for Small Grant Facility

The Agro-ecology Learning alliance in South East Asia (ALiSEA) has launched the second call for proposals of Small Grant Facility with an aim to foster networking between stakeholders, especially collaboration between Local and International NGO / Civil Society Organizations, Farmer Organizations and less structured grass root organizations, Research Centers, Universities and Private sector.

Objectives

Strengthening knowledge and experience sharing among agro-ecological initiatives and actors

Increasing visibility and credibility of agro-ecological movement towards policy makers and consumers

Scaling up the development and adoption of agro-ecological practice among farmers

Grant Information

Grants will be proposed as co-funding, with a maximum of 10,000 USD/project.

About 12 grants will be available for this 2nd call for proposals (up to 3 grants for each country).

Eligibility Criteria

SGF is opened to any type of agroecology stakeholders, provided that they contribute to the general goals and respect the principles of the SGF

Eligible applicants range from

Civil Society Organizations (CSO), preferably legally registered but not compulsorily:

Farmers’ organization / association / group / cooperative

Consumer association

Local NGOs

Departments of Government / Research institutes/ Universities

International research institutes / INGOs

Private sector

Eligible Countries: Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar and Vietnam.
